SUSTAINABILITY

From tradition to the first eco-sustainable line that respects the environment.

For Radar, taking care of the environment in which we live and preventing production processes from causing negative impacts on the environment was one of the most important challenges. For this reason, since the beginning of 2020 the company has equipped itself with an environmental management system certified according to the ISO14001 standard. Radar thus keeps the environmental impacts of its production activities under control and systematically seeks improvement in an effective and above all sustainable way, based on policies, processes and rules that guide the company's interaction with the environment.

Radar is today one of the world's leading manufacturers of holsters for professional use, with 2 production plants, a complete range of solutions. Its values have remained unchanged over time: quality, attention, respect for man and the environment.

GREE-LINE is the result of the undisputed experience that Radar boasts in the production of holsters and accessories for police and armed forces since 1957, through the evolution of certified processes with the use of eco-sustainable materials and manufacturing processes.

100% RECYCLED NYLON

The nylon used to produce the holsters and accessories is a synthetic textile fiber derived from the regeneration of recycled plastic polymers. The material is created thanks to the recycling of fishing nets abandoned in the oceans, domestic carpets, industrial plastic waste and scraps of fabrics used by the textile industry.

GENUINE VEGETABLE TANNED LEATHER

The leather deriving from different types of animal raw materials is vegetable tanned, i.e. with substances derived from materials abundantly present in nature such as vegetable tannins, obtained from birch, quebracho, oak and chestnut trees. By doing so, a 100% green material is obtained, completely recyclable and with low environmental impact.

RECYCLABLE POLYESTER

Recycled polyester, despite its synthetic origins, can be considered one of the most sustainable textile fibers ever. Its potential C2C (Cradle-to-cradle) type characteristics make it reusable for an indefinite number of cycles without altering its characteristics.
